Information

This is a coaster jig for the F1 Ultra. I used an S1 to cut the jig, but the F1 Ultra would also work, though it would be much harder.

Step1: Material

For this, you just want to use a scrap piece or a not-so-good-looking piece since the jig will only be used in the laser. If you want, you can use a 6mm piece of basswood and you won't need the feet for the coasters to fit.

Step2: laser Time

It's time to laser. These settings are for an S1 40-watt. If you are using a different laser power or source, like the F1 Ultra, make sure to adjust these settings accordingly. Also, don't forget your laser safety glasses.

You will need to glue the feet to the bottom of the jig unless you used a thicker material. After letting them dry completely, you should be ready to go.

Step4: Alignment

To align this jig, I used a new method involving the measuring dot to find the center of the F1 Ultra. Once you've done that, you should be ready to go.

Good news, you're done with your jig! Don't forget your laser safety glasses when using it. If you have any questions, please leave a comment.
