For this design you will need to use both 3mm and 4mm material. The vertical slats and top part of the base should be made from 3mm material and the bottom layer of the base requires 4mm material.

I used 3mm basswood plywood and 4mm MDF for the candle holder in the pictures.

The parts in the file are colour coded for different materials. The purple parts should be 3mm and the red part should be 4mm.

The settings above are for cutting with the xTool D1 Pro 5w, but other settings can be found using the easy set panel in XCS.

The assembly process is simple and does not require glue, although glue can be used to add extra strength if required.

Start by taking one of the slats and inserting the top and bottom circular base plates into the slots, then continue adding slats until the circle is complete.
