Laser cut Happy Mother's Day Cake Topper

Note: I am using a D1 Pro for this cut out so the settings will be 60% 7mm/s and 1 pass thats a 20w module. For M1 10w you may use 60% 8mm/s 2pass with air-assist turn on. For any laser cutting its best to use with air-assist and on top of the honeycomb to avoid char on the side of the edges.

For D1 & D1 Pro owners make sure you pull down the kick stand to focus before attempting to cut.Since i am cutting on a piece of scrap wood do frame to make sure it in frame. Finally you can press the process button.

Clean the edges before applying acrylic paint. Here's the images right after cutting on the edges and before apply a coat of silver acrylic paint. I am using Americana Dazzling Silver paint to coat on the cut outs. Hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for stopping by.
