Start this project by following these steps in xTools Creative Space:
    1.    Change “Process on Flat Surface” to “Screen Preparation.”
    2.    Click “Calibrate Origin,” then use the buttons on the screen to align the laser to the top right corner.
    3.    Set the Easy Set settings to 100% power and 135 speed. I find this more effective.
    4.    When I used the Air Assist, it didn’t work for me, but it might work for you.

Step2: Sizing and Aligning Shirt Design

Design Placement on a Shirt
Using a Projector:
    1.    Use an inexpensive projector to cast the design onto the shirt.
    2.    Mark the design’s position using small pieces of white sticker paper or tape.
    3.    Measure the design to determine its size.
Without a Projector:
    1.    Estimate the size of the design.
    2.    Measure one dimension with a ruler.
    3.    Adjust the design size to fit various shirt dimensions for the best outcome.
Aligning the Design:
    1.    Fold the shirt in half after determining the design size.
    2.    Mark the center with tape or sticker paper for alignment assistance.
Tip: Ensure to resize the design in xTools Creative Space to match your shirt accurately.

Engraving a Single-Color Screen Using D1 Pro:

    •    Now, we need to engrave the screen for our single-color design with the D1 Pro.
    •    Follow these steps for precise engraving and proper screen printing setup.

    1.    Prepare Screen: One screen is required for the single color in your design.
    2.    Align and Scale: Align the origin and ensure the design is scaled and positioned within the green engravable area on your screen.
    3.    Flip and Orient: Make sure the design is flipped horizontally and oriented correctly for your shirt.
    4.    Start Engraving: Begin the engraving process. Time will vary based on the design size; mine took about 60 minutes.
    5.    Watch Tutorial: During engraving, watch a YouTube video on screen printing with the xTools Screen Printer for further instructions.

Step4: Screen Printing
Preview

    1.    Prepare the Engraved Screen: Remove the screen from the laser cutter and attach it securely to the Screen Printer.
    2.    Set Up the Shirt and Plate: Place a sticky mat on the wooden plate to prevent the shirt from moving during printing. Position the shirt on the sticky mat. This mat is essential to keep the shirt steady. For white ink, apply several coats to achieve vibrant color.
    3.    Align the Shirt: Adjust the shirt using the three knobs at the bottom of the plate for accurate alignment. Center the shirt with the help of tape markings.
    4.    Apply Black Ink: At a 45-degree angle, flood the screen with white ink, adding more ink at the bottom of the design to ensure full coverage.
    5.    Print and Dry: Lower the screen onto the shirt and drag the squeegee across the design to transfer the ink. Lift the screen and dry the ink using a hair dryer, heat gun, or heat press. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the ink is vibrant.
    6.    Finish: Carefully remove the shirt from the plate and let it dry completely, up to 24 hours without a heating element. The ink is fully dry when it is no longer sticky.
