for the pattern i used a real paw print from our dog we had these made
create a rectangle
here the dimensions are important so that it is not too big
i took a ruler and checked which size is still suitable
mine was 4 cm wide and 1.5 cm high
then you can round off the corners on the far right (corner radius)
here I took the value
adjust the settings for the paw
get the heart out of XCS
you can find it on the far left in the submenus
Basic Shapes
adjust the size
then select the heart and click on outline
here I have created an outline of -1mm
set both to engrave and bring the inner heart to the front with
arrange “bring to front”
select both shapes again and choose substract
then you have a heart with a thick frame for engraving
find a text and fit it into the frame
put your paw over your heart
now click on outline and create an outline of 1mm from the paw
select the outline and the heart and click on substract
then you can use edit node to make the edges of the heart a little nicer
