Black & white acrylic earrings

Ear rings are a great product to make with your laser as they are relatively fast to make and are excellent gifts.
This design combines cutting and engraving to make a simple but stylish design that stands out.
The earrings pictured are made from laminated acrylic that allows for the multi-coloured design. To get the black and white design the white laminated layer is engraved away to reveal the black acrylic underneath.
I buy this material from a laser supply store in the UK but if you do not have it available a similar effect can be achieved with any wood or acrylic.
These are the settings I used for cutting and engraving 1.6mm acrylic with the xTool D1 Pro.
These settings should be adjusted for other materials.
If using the laminated acrylic mentioned earlier, it is important to have a high lines per cm. I would recommend above 240.
Now that your ear ring is cut and engraved all you need to do is add the hook and fasteners to complete your project.
