The first step was inserting an xTool premade frame. Then, you'll need to make an outline of the shape and set the outline to cut.

Now you need to add your text. For this, I did a "Do Not Touch" sign for the thermostat, but you can take it and customize it to your liking.

For this, I used basswood, but you can choose any material. Just make sure to change your settings.

Now it’s time to laser your piece of basswood. Just make sure that you change the settings for your machine. This is an S1 40-watt. Change your material settings, and then you should be ready to go. Just don’t forget your laser safety glasses.
