The material used for this keychain is 1.6mm white on black Hobarts LaserSign engraving laminate. 

This material is a black acrylic with a 0.2mm white top layer that can be engraved away to give a nice black and white contrasting colour scheme.

these settings give an extremely smooth finish to the edges and is relatively fast compared to most other acrylics.

The white layer on this material is very thin at just 0.2mm so it is very easy for the laser to remove when engraving but I recommend justing a high lines per cm setting to give a smooth and even surface.

I used 300 lines per cm at 165mm per second with my xTool D1 Pro 5w.
