BBQ Invitation
Instruction
An invitation for a barbecue party
Simply engrave and cut on kraft paper
then glue together and you're done
easy peasy
first create a rectangle
i adapted mine to the size of the knife and the fork
we round off the corners so that it is not so angular
we copy the rectangle by simply making an outline with 0mm so that the copy is directly above the original
you can't simply reduce the size here because the rounded corners would result in a change
therefore we choose edit node
select the upper nodes and press the down arrow key
if you hold shift it goes faster
then we create a text and adapt it to the rectangle
here I have added some BBQ items
then I added an extra one which is glued to the fork
here we create a corn kernel
copy the 4 side by side
then several times under each other
then we load one of the basic shapes from XCS
adjust the size and subtract it from a copy of the kernels
then we create the leaves with the path tool
you also have to play a bit with the anchor points
