How to achieve full round circles wit a rotary engraving and avoid oval egg shaped circles.
Step 1) This how-to explains how to get full round circles when using a rotary RA2 or RA@ pro instead of the dreaded oval shape that often occurs. When you have a circle regardless of the size always add 10% more size to the height before engraving, ( if a 2 inch circle is wanted make height 2.2 inches) when the image or logo or whatever you want to engrave is in it's proper orientation the size will show the height on the size as it is confusing but with practice you can achieve perfect round circles.
Step 2) As you can see the top circle was engraved as a straight up regular circle, it comes out oval in shape and is no longer an actual circle, but with the added size to the height before engraving the circle comes out as a perfect circle. hope it helps.
