Dollhouse Dining Table

To create the tabs I start with a box generator.  My favorite site is MakerCase (it's free!) but you can use any of them.

I created a basic open box in the dimensions I wanted and downloaded the SVG.  

I removed the base from the box since that won't be needed.

Use vector edit to change the tabs openings at the bottom of the side pieces to make them cute curves instead of the tab cutouts.

Create a circle the size of your desired table top.  Set that to cut.

Fill in your table with the design you would like.  I chose a leaf style pattern with an outline around it.

I wanted to engrave the leaves and the outer trim at different depths so I kept them as two separate objects.

Engrave and cut out your parts.  

Since the F1 series can engrave faster I cut mine on the P2 and then engraved on the F1Ultra but you can absolutely do it all on the P2 if preferred.

I used the default 3mm basswood settings.

Test to make sure that your parts fit together nicely before spening the time to stain or glue.

Sand any burned edges.

Stain the parts separately for a more even appearance.

Glue the 4 sides together first.  

I used super glue for mine. Any glue will do but try to make sure that any extra glue lands on the inside.

Turn the top upside down and glue the base to it, making sure to center the base on the top.

All done, it's adorable!
