Step 1) This project starts off with a SVG file created in a different program, Once this file is in the work area it is outlined with the outline tool to create a solid backing.

Step 2) Once the second ring has been created the letters for MOM comes in to play with the text button, it is sized and placed on the back solid ring lining up with the top layer. In the edit mode of the text is when you can select the desired font.

Step 3) Now that MOM is placed it stays there and the top layer is moved away, as they both will be cut out of material, the top layer is then having the settings adjusted.

Step 4) In this step the engraving and the backing both get their setting adjusted and set as well. Then off to the laser

Step 5) This step the 2 pieces get glued together simply on top of each other lining up with the word MOM, once the glue dries an added touch of paint is applied to give a more realistic effect...Enjoy....
