Step 1) This first step sets up the 2 different materials, the first canvas is for the engraving of the wood and cutting. Once the design is placed in the work area the adjustments to the setting for power and speeds are set. The second step is to set up for engraving the screen, this is the same thing except the screen print mode is set within XCS software and the design is placed accordingly. once that is done the settings are too adjusted to engrave the screens. 

Step 2) Now that we have the settings set and the wood in the laser machine it is time for the laser to engrave the stem of the design and then cut out the outline from the wood. Once this step is complete it is on to the screen engraving to complete this project.

Step 3) Now with a new screen installed into the work area of the machine the laser begins to engrave the portion of the design for the roses and the leaves in 2 different locations on the screen.

Step 4) Now with the aid of a lit bed the wood can be seen easily, the light up for this project is simple. Placing the wood so the roses line up on the right location on the wood it is time to add the first color. The red color is spread across the area's where the roses will be. The next thing is to allow the ink to dry, once this is ready the wood is moved to line up for the second color which is green for the leaves. As toy can see once lined up the green ink is applied.

Step 5) Now with both colors applied and the ink has dried it is time to present the roses as the gift they are……
