Step 1) making a frame, this frame was created using the insert button. The corners of the frame were rounded off, once the size was set the outline feature was used to create a slightly larger border that created the frame. This step went right to the laser machine to be cut out.

Step2: Designing the Screen Print.

Step 2) This step sets up the design to be engraving using the screens, this was done by using a the Olympic rings and adding the lettering. Once the layout was sized it was off the the laser machine with the screen printing frame in place. The design was engraved in reverse so it was the right way around when in the screen printer.

Step 3) Now that the laser engraving on the screen was complete, the clear acrylic was placed on the bed of the screen printer, this was aided by a back light is it can be seen with ease. The red ink was spread across the engraving leaving the imprint on the clear acrylic. The S1 diode laser can not cut clear acrylic so this acrylic was cut with a utility knife by scoring and snapping on the scored line.
