This is my entry into the screen printing competition with this circular flag. It takes three screens and the colors red, white, and blue.
For this file, you will need to change canvases. The first one is for cutting your wood; the next three are for the screens. Make sure that you don't move the screen files, as they will already be aligned with the S1 screen.
Now it's time to laser your wood. This is super easy. I did two passes so that I would have a cleaner cut. Just make sure that you have your laser safety glasses on.
Now this is the long step, as this will take about three hours, one for each screen, as they take a long time. Make sure that you have your laser safety glasses and that it is aligned on the S1 alignment tool.
Your first screen is for the white paint. It will use a lot of ink, so just make sure that you swipe your screen one time without any material. This will add paint into the screen. Then you will want to align it perfectly, swipe on the ink, and let it dry completely.
Now it's time for the second screen. This one is red. Just like the last one, you need to pre-swipe the screen. Then you need to align it, and it should be good to go. You're almost done; just make sure to let it dry completely.
Almost done! For this one, you want to use blue ink. Just like the last one, wipe the screen one time, then align it. Finally, swipe it on your material, and you're done with your sign. Good job!
Now you're done and ready for the Fourth of July. Good job!
