Multi Layer 1964 Impala Key Rack, for hanging keys, keychains, etc. made with 1/4 inch birch, 1/8 inch birch, and small hooks. the hangers in the back are also made from 1/8th inch birch.
For the 1st part, load a sheet of 6mm or ¼ inch birch plywood Score The lines that are black and Cut the outline that is blue ( you can use your personal settings or use the settings that I use.)
Next, load up a sheet of 3mm or 1/8th inch birch plywood and cut everything that is on the red layer. the two circles on the side of the car outline are the back hangers. WHEN REMOVING MAKE SURE TO SAVE THE RECTANGLE WITH THE 5 SMALL HOLES CUT OUT OF IT.
Paint your pieces whatever color you would like
Start by glueing the 3mm cutout of the grill on to the 6mm back piece using the score lines as a guide.
Next, glue the rectangle with the 5 small holes into place. this piece gives you more thickness to ensure your keys wont pull the hooks out!
Next, Screw in your 1/8 inch or ¼ inch screw hooks into the rectangle with 5 small holes. Use the holes as guides for your screw hooks.
Last, Flip the project over and Glue your hangers on. Make sure they are level or your board will not be straight on the wall! Let the glue sit for at least an hour or follow the recommended time for your glue! I recommend clamping to make sure you get a strong adherence on the hangers.
