Step1: Design 1

The first step is setting it to conveyor large. Then you will need to insert your material, only putting it in until the top of the wood is hit by the measuring laser (blue dot). In the software, you will want to hit the auto measure button and then finally hit the refresh button to bring up the image of the wood.

Now you will need to put your design in. The important part is framing out your material first, as you don't want it to ruin your new conveyor belt. Make sure that it will fit, then make sure that your lid is far enough down not to block the wood, but still fits. Then you need to combine all the objects, and you should be good to go.

Step3: Material

For this, I used the basswood included with the laser, but you can use any material that you want.

Step4: laser Time

For this, you want to make sure that your material fits and that you change the settings for whatever material you use. For me, this was basswood. Make sure that you follow the safety guidelines, as the laser will be open. You NEED GLASSES. Safety should be a top priority.
