Information
This fun little project is a great way to decorate and bring a little joy and colour to your garden. You will need black and red acrylic as well as glue to complete this project. I used 3mm but the thickness doesn't really matter and will not affect the final product.

Step1: Size and preparation

The size of the ladybug can easily be adjusted in XCS before starting this project. Remember to select both the red and black layers before changing the size to make sure they are kept to the same scale and fit together once complete.

The layers are colour coded to match the material colour but remember to use the output switch at the top right in XCS to only process one part at a time.

Step2: Cutting

I used 3mm acrylic to make this project and used the above settings to cut both red and black using the xTool D1 Pro 5w laser.

After cutting you may want to lightly sand the edges with fine sand paper to get an even smoother finish depending on how your material has cut.

Step3: Glueing

Once you have all parts cut you will need some glue that is suitable for sticking acrylic. If you are planning to keep this decoration outside you should also use an outdoor weather-proof glue.

I used the mitre fast glue picture above as it dried extremely fast.
