This pretty flower can hang on a wall or sit on a shelf. The design stands away from the backer for a cool 3D display.
Painting the backer can be done before or after you cut.
I can use these for many projects so I prefer to paint it first and have on hand.
Create a circle for the back.
Optionally add another circle inside of it at 3-5mm wide that can be used for a string to hang it.
Add a flower design that you can cut out. Feel free to use the one I created that's in this file.
Add a couple of circles that can be used to lift the design off of the backer. I went with 2 but you can do more or less depending on what style you like.
Paint your flower and your spacers.
Glue the spacers together and then glue them to the back of the flower.
Add glue to the back of the spacer and then hold the whole flower over the backer until you like the way it lines up and press down. I've seen some people make them off centered and it looked really cool so play with it before committing to glue.
Add string if you are going to hang it or it can be set on the shelf for display.
