Took a recipe and pulled out the words and created a cutting board

Step1: Loaded recipe into XCS
Loaded the recipe into XCS, cleaned it up and traced the written portion of the picture. Made it a SVG and added a Cardinal, loaded the cutting board I wanted lined it up with the recipe. grouped the recipe and the cardinal. Moved this part of the file off the work area and chose to ignore output.
Step2: Created boarder for the cutting board
Chose the cutting board I wanted and made sure it was set to cut. The created a outline and made sure it was negative to create a boarder to cut out for the main board.
Step3: Engraved the recipe and cut out board
After the boarder was cut out and moved it off the work area and chose to grey out the output. Moved the board and recipe portion back to work area and chose output to green. Made sure my settings were correct for engraving and cutting. Pre made some borax and warm water into a sprayer, sprayed the board lightly with the mixture and let it dry, then processed. The borax make the engraving much darker than normal and it is consistent.
Step4: stained boarder
Stained the boarder I cut out with american walnut. Then glued the boarder to the board
