I really like the look of these “poster bars” (not sure if this trasnlation is correct in german these are Posterleisten) so I created a version for my home.

For this I used magnets and loved that this could have a special shape as the typiacla don't have.

I added the cute family sentence and the heart to round up.

When all is cut and engraved make sure to lay out your materials in a way you don't get confused.

The combination is 1 Engraved and 1 piece of the magnets holder.

Don't glue 2 pieces of magnets holder onto the engraved…

Sadly I remebered too late and needed to cut 2 new magnets holder that stay only “naked”

  1. Glue 1 layer with holes to backside of engraved. Look at the shapes to match
  2. Add glue to magnets border and insert into holes. Attiontion to matching sides to make sure its still workign as magnets
  3. Let dry

I used E6000plus and that took a good time to dry. But then was really strong and worked fine with deattaching the bars.

Finally you can add you image or whatever you want to put in between the bars. Yeah, I made a silly mistake but I fixed it and it's still usable. Sometimes this happens.

But I really thinks thats a fun different project or gift. You could also create them in other shapes like rounded or anything else.

I hope you liked it! Have fun creating your own! ~Anzy
