• Insert a rectangle with curved edges
  • Make sure its set to “cut”
• In the Basic Shapes
  • Select Border
    • And select a border for you label
    • If you pick a dark label like I did, make sure you switch it “score”
• Add text to your label
  • This can be customized to your preference
  • set your text to engrave

• There is extra space on the bottom so I added a flower from the plants section of basic shapes and set it to engrave

• I wanted this to look like a vase so I add the shape that looks like a triangle but the with a flat bottom and aligned it centered to the jar
  • Once you have it straight you can “unite” on the left side panel

• Add a small rectangle
  • Copy and paste 
    • Add another small rectangle inside of one of them
• Create a another rectangle across the top of the ones that double rectangles
  • Select them all and “unite at overlap”
• You should be left with a “U” shape
  • Copy and paste 3x
    • If you want your backing to be thicker you can cut more pieces
• Set everything you just created to “cut”

Automeasure your material and check all your settings. 

• Glue the “U” shape pieces to the rectangle making sure all the pieces are flush at the bottom.
• Glue that piece to the back of your jar
• Grab a magnet and place on the back on the rectangle

I also did a light sanding on the front to give it a smooth finish.
