Check the settings to best work for your machine. I found these setting work best on my D1 pro 20w. I engrave deeply to ensure detail is not lost during the sanding process.
Sand the burn marks off of all the pieces carefully with a high grit sand paper. Then pick a stain and apply it to the pieces. Allow to dry.
Find the two large hexagons. Apply glue to the one that has the center cut out of it, and apply it to the one with the design in the center. Make sure that the tab is on the bottom and the cut out rectangle is on the top. refer to the photo above.
Find the hanger piece and apply glue to the tab. inset it into the rectangular cut out on the top of the large hexagon. Allow it to dry. Refer to photos above.
Find the three smaller hexagons. Start with the small and medium sized hexagons. Apply glue to the medium hex in the area where they will make contact, then place it on top of the small hex. Then repeat this step with the larger hex onto the medium sized hex. Refer to the photos above. Allow to dry.
Apply glue to the tab at the bottom of the large hexagons. Take the smaller hexagons and ensure that the small hex is on the bottom and the larger hex is on the top. Insert tab into the rectangular cut out in the center of the smallest hex. Allow them to dry ensuring that it is square. Enjoy!
