I made this decorative bird house as a test to try different sizes and styles and it turned out quite well. This will be perfect to add something interesting to the garden and small birds will even fit inside.
The design file is split up into section so that all of the parts can be cut from 200x300mm (A4) material. The purple lines are only to separate the parts and should be ignored when cutting.
The main parts of the house should be cut from 4mm material but I used 3mm material for all the decorative parts that are glued in place, such as the windows, doors and roof.
All of the lines on the walls and roof are scored using the settings shown above.
The 4 sides and bottom of the bird house should slot together easily but I would recommend using glue to add strength.
You will also need to use wood glue for the 2 main roof panels.
Once the main house is complete you can glue the decorative door, windows and roof tiles into place. When glueing the roof tiles, you should start at the bottom and slightly overlap each one until you reach the top.
