Open the design file.  

Place the 3mm basswood on the honeycomb and secure with the materials pins.  Perform an automeasure.

Assign the parameters: RED - Cut and BLUE - Score

The parameters are the same for both the 3mm basswood and 3mm walnut.

Send to the laser for processing.

Once the earrings have been cut carefully lift, turn and place back into the space they were cut from.

Click on the RED layer and move the “output” slider to off.  Send the job to the laser again, this time only the BLUE score layer will be processed.

I cut 2 pairs of earrings, one set from 3mm basswood and the other from 3mm walnut.  The walnut pair I left natural and just added the jump rings and hooks.

The 3mm basswood pair I painted with acrylic paint and added rhinestones accents for a little sparkle.  I also added the jump ring and hook.
