When you open the project, you can work perfectly with the different colored layers. The black lines (see picture) are only for engraving, the red ones are cutting lines. If you want to add more figures (e.g. animals or plants), you can simply add them to the left-hand bar and cut them out.

Now, every baby has different characteristics. The pictures are intended for labeling them. To personalize them, you only need to change the text in the project. In the picture you can see that I have inserted an X for the following information:

1. the name goes on the cloud
2. the date goes on the baby carriage
3. on the alarm clock, of course, the time
4. on the giraffe is the size
5. on the stork's bag is the weight

Adapt these texts and you're ready to cut and engrave!

The last step is to have the whole thing cut by your laser and then assemble it. You can see the settings for the 3 layers above, but you can of course vary them a little as you wish. The assembly is very simple. The main part is inserted into the two bases and glued together if necessary (depending on the thickness of the material). The individual figures are then glued to the main frame. I have glued an optional back and spacers in between to make it easy to insert the photo. Of course, you can also just use the whole thing as it is and glue the photo on directly from the back.

TIP: The whole thing can also be given as a gift without text so that the parents can label it themselves, for example.
