Toolboxes are useful organizational tools in the garage. Adding labels, extends the ease of access for finding the right tool.

Step1: Create Text Labels

The first step is to create the text labels needed for the toolbox.

Step2: Add Outlines
Next we want to add in outlines to use a cut path for the design. -Ensure that the outline connects all letters. You may need to adjust the padding for the outline.

The settings are for the D1 5W laser. You may need to adjust the settings for your laser configuration.
Be sure to follow all the safety guidelines for your laser and always wear personal protective equipment when the laser is in operation.

Step4: Add Magnets

Next, cut small pieces of magnetic tape to use for each word. I have a small square for each word, but you may want to add more, depending upon the size of the label. You may also want to add a stronger adhesive. I have used super glue for this application.
