The Mandala pattern originates from Indian Buddhism and carries a strong religious significance. The design is symmetrical from top to bottom, left to right, or diagonally. It has a great decorative appeal, making it a beautiful addition to any wall. Whether for personal use or as a gift, it's an excellent choice.
Turn on the machine, open xTool Creative Space on your computer, and drag in the required xcs file. Place a 30*30*3mm black walnut board into the machine, refresh the page, click on measure distance, adjust settings, and prepare for cutting. (Before starting to cut and engrave the wood board, we can stick a layer of masking tape on the surface of the wood to prevent the carbonized dust from the laser engraving from adhering to the surface of the wood.)
Clean the masking tape off the surface of the cut wood board. You can use a small crochet hook to lift one edge of the tape, making the removal process more efficient.
Apply glue to the back of the mandala pattern, both in the center and around the edges. Be mindful to control the amount of glue to avoid it from spilling over and sticking to your skin. Align the mandala pattern with the black walnut base (PS: It's essential to align the central hole to ensure the installation of the movement). Once aligned, apply a gentle pressure for about five seconds to adhere the dial and the base together.
Align with the markings on the dial, apply glue to the bottom of the numbers, and affix them sequentially onto the dial.
Assemble the clock. Turn the dial over, align the movement's shaft with the hole in the dial, and rotate the movement clockwise into the dial.
Install the hands on the movement's shaft in the order of hour, minute, and second.
First, point all the hands towards 12 o'clock, then adjust the time to the closest local time. Afterwards, install the battery and the battery cover into the movement.
Assembly complete.
Note
1. Before cutting the wood board, you can stick masking tape on its surface to prevent carbonized dust from adhering to the board during the cutting process. Once the cutting is done, simply peel off the masking tape.
2. After cutting the black walnut board, apply a thin layer of wood wax oil. This can enhance the color and texture of the wood.
3. Prior to cutting the gold lettering film, you can stick masking tape on its surface. This helps to achieve a more complete cut.
