The first step is to import the included template. Then, add the desired text in the middle and weld it to avoid the laser going over it twice.

Make sure to use basswood for this, since you will be painting it.

Now it's time to set the laser. These settings are for an S1 40-watt machine, so you may need to adjust accordingly. Remember to wear your laser safety glasses; safety is a top priority.

The first thing you need to do is paint the design. After that, you will take a piece of string to attach each section, making sure that they won't be touching, otherwise, it won't spin.
