Sometimes we need to tell someone we are thinking of them and a hand crafted card amplifies the intent of this simple gesture. The xtool laser cutter adds unique depth to the design and is the perfect tool for the job.
Instruction

Step1: Begin with the Image
I have created a simple design to be cut out in the style of a stencil I want to have it overlay on a contrasting color of card stock to bring out the cut out sections.

Step2: Add in a Boarder to cut out

Next, Let's add in a boarder to cut out the design from the card stock. I am adding a simple square with rounded corners to create the badge for the card.

Step3: Settings
The settings are for the D1 5W laser. You may need to adjust the settings for your laser configuration.
Be sure to follow all the safety guidelines for your laser and always wear personal protective equipment when the laser is in operation.
