Information
If your child loves plastic building bricks, or Lego, you know there are always a few extra laying around. This project was a request from my daughter to help organize those left over bricks. We worked on the design together, and you can adjust the design for your own needs.

Step1: Build the box
Preview

The first step is to go to boxes.py to build a basic box shape with a bottom.  I set this one up with a 2 inch sides and 4 inches by 6 inches bottom.  Keep in mind your laser's kerf when setting up the file.

Next, I imported the SVG created on boxes.py into the canvas. I added in several designs to decorate the sides of the box.

Step3: Settings

The settings are for the D1 5W laser.  You may need to adjust the settings for your laser configuration.

Be sure to follow all the safety guidelines for your laser and always wear personal protective equipment when the laser is in operation.

Step4: Assemble

The last step is to assemble the box.  The finger joints are pretty easy to assemble,  Just ensure you add glue to the points of contact and you will end up with a very strong connection.
