      Discover my interpretation of the Catalan Donkey. This multi-layered project combines technicality and poetry by integrating, at the very heart of this emblematic silhouette, a landscape of character and a finely engraved guitar.

A true visual and tactile journey where digital precision meets the warmth of Catalan hues.

Instruction

Step1: Design and engraving

Cut in black, engraved in blue

For the cut, don't hesitate to make 2 passes with less power so as not to burn the small details.

For engraving, test a power high enough to mark the details well, especially if you want to color it later.

Step2: Assemblage

3 layers to be assembled with wood glue; watch out for overflowing glue

Step3: Finitions

I chose Catalan colors and a black background to bring out the depth. But you can leave it raw or play with the wood shades with walnut husk for example :)

Don't forget a light sanding and matt / glossy varnish according to your tastes
