Laser engraved wooden bookmark with colorful floral pattern and red tassel

Materials needed:

Laser machine (xTool or equivalent)

Wood / plywood 3 mm

Acrylic paint (colors of your choice)

Small brush

Pompom with cord

Fine sandpaper

Steps: 

1. Open
the file in xTool Creative Space or your laser engraving software.

2. Prepare the material
Place a plate of 3 mm wood in the machine.

3. Laser settings

Engraving: settings suitable for 3 mm wood

Cutting: cutting settings for 3 mm
wood(To be adjusted according to your machine.)

4. Start the engraving
Engrave the mandala pattern first.

5. Clipping
Then start cutting the bookmark.

6. Finish<

Paint the engraved areas with the desired colors.

Let dry completely.

7. Assembly
Thread the cord of the pompom through the bookmark hole and tie a knot.
