Information

Fishing ranks among the most favored recreational activities. This distinctive gift makes an excellent choice for Father's Day or as a present for any special event. In this project, we will explore the process of designing a coaster featuring the supplied SVG image of a smallmouth bass jumping from the water.

See step-by-step instructions for many of my projects on my Youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/@KBDesigns-gi9ef

Instruction

1

Step1: Import the Design

The first step is to begin to build the base design.  I wanted this design to focus on a smallmouth bass jumping out of water.  I created the svg and imported it into the canvas.

2

Step2: Add an outline and Circle

I next used the outline tool to trace a vector around the design.  You may want to adjust the padding to get the best results.

I then added two circles to create a ring around the design. Finally, I used the combine tool to unite the outline and ring.

3

Step3: Settings

The settings are for the D1 5W laser.  You may need to adjust the settings for your laser configuration.

Be sure to follow all the safety guidelines for your laser and always wear personal protective equipment when the laser is in operation.
