Bunny Easter Controller Ornament

For this project of the Bunny Controller, I prepared the complete Design in Adobe Illustrator, as it's a lot easier than with XCS (sorry xTool, but hopefully in the future it becomes easier). But of course you can adjust it to your preferences as you want like resizing the Ornament. But my Advcice just make it bigger not smaller.

For my Wood I know exactly what Settings I need to use. Keep in Mind that mine was based on 2mm thickness so please make a test cut if you use thicker Material!

As mentioned before, my Layers are all named an sorted so the Score Lines are the Orange Color and Cuts are Black. 

Score Lines are made for easy positioning when glueing everything together.

If you have, turn your Air Assist on after the laser finished the score lines. Also use the Air Purifier if available.

Video is 10x speed up, cut took about 5min.

The backside of the Controller has the feets of the bunny based on very little ellipse, so please don't throw them away or ignore them. Watch carefully like I do in the Video, better keep everything than missing a piece.
 

Take some Tape and put in on a crafting mat in the way shown in the image, so that you can place the tiny bits on top, so you don't loose them now in the next steps and have a easier way to paint them.
 

We have two bigger pieces that you now glue together by adding wood glue or just like me Mod Podge as this is what I got at home and is perfectly usable for those small projects.

Please make sure to flip the Backside so that you habe score lines on the front and the back!

Let all parts dry before starting to glue them togeher.

I love to give this Bunny some color to make it pop!

Use some small brushes and Acrylic Paints like mine from ARTEZA. I paint the paws in a light pink and the Bunny Tail in White. Everything else gets black to make the main focus the Bunny Elements. 

Don't forget to paint the inside from the Bunny Ears on the base front.

Now it's time to assemble this Ornament. 

1. Add some Glue on the inside of the score lines from the front base
2. Take the circles and cross and place them according to the score lines
3. Carefully take the contour from the bunny ears and apply glue directly on the backside and cautious placing on the base
4. Let the glue get a few moments to start to stick
5. Turn the controller around and again add glue to the scored insides
6. Add the tiny bits, if needed use Tweezers to place them in the right spot
7. Let the glue dry!

Last step is to add some yarn or cord to turn this Wood Cut into the Ornament and hang it to your aaster bouquet!
