Laser Warning Keychain

For this file, I grabbed the ISO 710-W004 design from https://www.iso.org/obp/ui#iso:grs:7010:W004

To make the engrave work slightly quicker, I then traced the black segment in XCS to make it a vector rather than a bitmap. I put this on the Engrave layer (Black)

I then copied the vector that was created and used it to get just the outline (by combining it with a triangle to fill in the middle and make it a solid rounded triangle) I moved this to the red cut layer.

I then added a small circle on the top point for a keyring to go through, again on the red cut layer.

I then rearranged the layers to ensure the cut goes second, after the engrave.

I added the settings for cut and engrave for each layer.

These were found using a test grid on another piece of the material. 

After removing the protective film, I added the material to my F1, with the thin yellow layer facing up, and the thick black layer at the bottom.

I placed this on the cutting bed.

I set the focus to the material.

I then set the engrave and cut going.

Don't leave your laser unattended during this time!

Once it's done, I took the sheet and the cut item out of the machine.

After the laser is done, I needed to quickly clean up the piece with some IPA (rubbing alcohol) to remove some scorch marks and some sticky residue from the edges where the cut happened.

After cleanup, I added a keyring!
