I laser cut the design and then pour resin into the open space to get some really nice colors and a deep effect.

Step1
The cross was a design I got from creative fabrica. I then changed the design to match my vision of it. it was cut from 3mm cherry plywood. the resin is poured in 2 waves the first fills the color and the last is a clear cap which is a thin layer that ads depth and fills any sunken spots.
