I needed to have a place to store all those pesky gift cards, as I just keep losing them, so I found this great box at Hobby Lobby.

First, you need to input the icons that you will use. For this, I used a frame, text, and a gift box icon. Then, I resized the frame to match the size of the top of the box.

After that, all you need to do is add everything to your frame.

For this, I used a box that I found at Hobby Lobby which fits gift cards.

Now it's time to laser engrave your box. I have adjusted the settings for basswood, as the box I used is a rather light wood and it worked very similarly to basswood. Please note that these settings are for an S1 40-watt laser. Also, remember to wear your laser safety glasses.

Now you're done, and you have a great place to put your gift cards.ds.
