Information
My wife was throwing a bridal shower for her best friend's daughter and one of the games used small, golf pencils she ordered in white. When I saw them I suggested that I etch something on the pencils to make it more personal. Rice will be her new last name, so we went with Rice Is Nice. They came out great. Have Fun!
I made a simple jig using some scrap 3mm plywood. I had to make 20 pencils, but only built a jig for 3, as it was easy to reload the pencils several times to finish the 20.
Unfortunately, I did not get pics of the final pencils, as the text is better centered on those than in the pics I am showing here.
