Information

Gourds are well suited to a variety of wild birds as a nesting home. This year I decided to make some attractive versions to spread around my nature reserve to provide them with the perfect setting to successfully rear their young.

Cut out the entrance hole to the gourd. Cut out the veneer. Cut out the protection to the entry hole. The position and diameter of the entry hole is according to the species of bird. The diameter in the included file is suitable for wrens. Other suggested diameters are included in the file according to the species of the bird.

A test array should be prepared to avoid over processing.
