      Project justification and motivation

The "Coffee Organizer – Just Coffee" was deliberately chosen as a competition project because it combines functionality, construction and design in one compact piece of furniture. The aim was to reinterpret an everyday usage scenario – the organisation of a coffee station – in terms of design and technology.

Coffee is an integral part of everyday life and stands for ritual, structure and enjoyment. These properties were taken as a starting point to develop an object that creates order and at the same time has a visual identity.

Why this project?

This project was chosen because it combines several design and construction challenges:
Development of a stable plug-in construction
Deliberate design of non-mirror-like finger tines for assembly control
Combination of functional structure and decorative elements
Modular design with clear assembly logic

The organizer is not a purely decorative object, but a well-thought-out system. The design forces a clear assembly sequence and structurally prevents incorrect assembly – a deliberately set design and technical claim.

Design Thought

In addition to the technical implementation, the focus was on the visual effect. The combination of light and darker wood surfaces creates contrast and structure. The sample plates decoratively pick up on the theme of "coffee", while the lettering "Just Coffee" makes a clear statement in terms of content.

The project shows that function and design do not have to be considered separately, but can complement each other.

Personal claim

The aim of this project was to show how a clear idea can be turned into a well-thought-out product through systematic design, planning and design. The organizer thus exemplifies precise planning, creative problem solving and craftsmanship.
