Laser Engraved Wooden Coffee Coasters with Valentine Message

Step 1. Prepare the design
Import the vector file and assign layers:

Red line → cut outline

Black layer → engraving
Ensure the design is centred and scaled correctly for the coaster size.

Step 2. Engrave first
Run the engraving pass using the black layer to burn the artwork into the wood. Engraving is done before cutting to keep the material stable and ensure clean detail.

Step 3. Cut the coaster shape
Cut the outer circle using the red outline. This separates the coasters cleanly from the sheet.

Step 4. Sand and varnish
Lightly sand the surface and edges to remove residue and smooth the finish. Apply a clear varnish for a gloss finish, enhancing the wood grain and protecting the coaster for everyday use.
