Coffee Corner Organizer with Embossing

Because I used the slide extension the “emboss" choice was not available, so to emboss, I engraved 3 passes with the xTool F2 settings: Engrave; Blue Light; 70% power; 80 mm/s speed; 3 passes and 100 lines per cm. The organizer tray requires some simple woodworking (or creating a box with the laser for which I am not including instructions here (I used the woodworking method.) This design is intended to be placed in the coffee corner or anywhere the customer/recipient prefers. The clock parts may be purchased from a variety of sources including Amazon (just be sure the threaded stem is long enough to protrude through the cherry (in this case ½” or 13mm). The second line of images are engraved with the base plate removed and the laser placed on top of the cherry back. The images on the front of the organizer tray were done with the slide extension and before assembly. This project will include instructions for the three different portions: top emboss with slide extension; tray engraving with the slide extension and the middle set of engravings with the base plate removed.

I chose a steaming cup of coffee from clip art for the “3” “6” “9” & “12” positions and coffee beans for the others. I used the “circular array” for both and then deleted the ones I didn’t need. After I was satisfied with the arranging, I grouped all 12 images.
