Step1: Name creation

  1. Write the name of the baby in a font you want, I selected a script as its suited in cuteness for the project.
  2. If needed make sure all letters are connected to have one name piece in the end
  3. Add circles to create holes for the little addons
  4. Change the data in the file for your baby to personalize it

Turn on your machine and make sure for placement inside XCS on your material.


I like to rotate pieces to fit them better in 45 degree steps to easily rotate back to normal for easier editing.

I also used air assist on low while engraving and middle on cutting.

  1. Lay down all pieces
  2. Get some yarn and decide lenghts depending on how far down each piece should hang
  3. Take the first piece and pull the yarn through the hole and the hole of the name and tie a knot
  4. Reprat for all other parts
  5. Tie a longer piece of yarn to the top holes to create the hanging string.
  6. Hang to wall using a nail

This is how mine turned out, I think its a very cute gift for friends that have a newborn baby.
