My wife needed a station for her glass filter, and this object was created from that.
The glass filter with mount can be inserted at the top. Underneath is the glass carafe for collecting the delicious coffee :)
The carafe stands on a cork inlay, which can be replaced if necessary
The filters can be easily stowed away in the drawer underneath
First, cut out all the parts with the laser. The material consumption is a bit high, unfortunately not everything fits in the machine at once
First I glued the pairs together. (Once not paying attention and wetting a visible surface with glue)... and let them dry.
I glued the drawer together with superglue.
Watch out for your fingers - superglue can be pretty nasty!
Now let all parts dry.
Now glue all parts together - since it was faster I used the superglue again.
All parts varnish. with black and white or colors you want.
I painted the letters first, then I glued the pieces together, so the letters could dry. To prevent them from blowing off me due to the spray, I inserted them into the laser cutout and then painted them.
Finally, the raised letters are glued in, the engraving helps very well with the positioning. With tweezers and superglue, the letters can be easily placed and fixed by a short press.
