This Valentine’s Day voucher letter is a handcrafted gift designed to express love in a personal and creative way.
It features a customizable voucher and a matching decorative seal that adds a sweet and romantic highlight.
Both the voucher text and the seal can be personalized, making this project perfect for Valentine’s Day or any special occasion.
Instruction
Step1: Open the File
Open the provided design file in your laser cutter software.
Personalize it how you wat it to be - your own voucher and your own seal 💌
Step2: Place the Material
Place the 3 mm MDF onto the cutting bed.
Make sure the material lies flat and is properly aligned.
Close the laser cutter.
Step3: Automatic Measurement
Start the automatic material height measurement of the laser cutter system.
Wait until the measurement is fully completed.
Step4: Mark the Material Area
Use the positioning function to mark the area where the material is placed.
Check that the laser path stays completely on the MDF.
This ensures the design will be cut safely within the material.
Step5: Set the Cutting Order
Activate ONLY the cut lines.
Temporarily disable or ignore:
Line engraving
Engraving
Step6: Start Cutting
Double-check the cutting settings for 3 mm MDF.
Start the cutting process.
Step7: Apply Paint (Do Not Move the Material)
After cutting, do NOT remove or move the MDF from the laser cutter.
Keeping the material in the exact same position is essential.
Carefully apply acrylic paint onto the cut areas while the material remains inside the laser cutter.
Use a brush or sponge and apply the paint evenly.
Step8: Let the Paint Dry
Allow the paint to dry completely.
Do not continue until the surface is fully dry.
Step9: Change Laser Settings (Important)
Once the paint is dry, open the laser cutter settings.
Disable all cut lines completely.
Make sure that no cutting is active.
Enable only:
Line engraving
Engraving
Step10: Start Engraving
Double-check that cutting is disabled.
Start the engraving process.
Wait until engraving is finished.
Step11: Remove the Parts
Carefully remove all parts from the laser cutter.
Handle them gently to protect the painted surface.
Step12: Glue the Frame
Glue the frame around the main base piece.
Align it carefully and let the glue set.
Step13: Attach the Front Layer
Glue the front layer onto the base.
Press gently and make sure everything is straight.
Step14: Insert the Voucher, Add the Seal and Flower
Glue the decorative seal onto the front.
Attach the flower last as a final decorative detail.
Step15: Finished
Your Valentine’s Day voucher letter is now complete —
