This coffee tray is shaped like a coffee bean and features an engraved quote on the front. It combines decorative design with practical use, making it ideal for serving coffee, storing accessories, or enhancing a coffee corner. The layered construction adds stability, while optional painting allows for individual customization.
Instruction
Step1: Laser Cut the Front Panel (Cut Only)
Laser cut the front panel of the tray.
For this step, disable the engraving and enable only the cutting operation, as shown in the images.
Step2: Optional: Paint and Engrave the Front
If you want to paint the front panel, paint it after cutting and let it dry completely.
Place the painted front panel back into the laser and disable the cutting operation while enabling the engraving only, as shown in the images, to engrave the quote.
If painting is skipped, cutting and engraving can be done in one step.
Step3: Laser Cut the Remaining Parts
Laser cut the remaining parts, including the base and frame.
Make sure to switch between the different worksheets in the file, as shown in the images.
Step4: Glue Frame to Base
Glue the frame onto the base plate and allow it to set.
Step5: Sand the Edges
Lightly sand the glued frame and edges to remove burn marks and achieve a smooth finish.
Step6: Insert the Front Panel
Glue the finished front panel into the frame.
Step7: Optional: Final Painting
Optionally, paint or touch up the assembled tray to refine the overall appearance.
