This is a bit of fun, you can drag the image to suit whatever size you need. I made one for my grandmother and thought its actually quite fun for DnD and at that size, it could fit on one small sheet of ply for people who are tight like me ^^.

Step1
What i would suggest is checking the laser cutting settings. I don't know why but its keep to do an extra run on the slats. I turned down the power for this tutorial to what i would do if i did it again.
I ran at 90 pwr and 10 spd. This has 87 and 15.
