Instruction
Step1: Open the File and Set the Material
Open the design file in your laser software.
Select the material you are using — in this case, bamboo.
Step2: Adjust the Board Orientation and Set the Sizes
Before setting the final dimensions, turn the board once so it will later be engraved against the bamboo grain direction.
This helps achieve a cleaner engraving result.
Now adjust the overall size of the breakfast board as desired.
Also set the size of the circular cup recess:
The recess should be slightly larger than the bottom of your cup
This allows enough space to comfortably place the cup
Example:
If your cup has a bottom diameter of 7 cm, set the circle to 8 cm.
After that, scale the remaining design elements accordingly.
Step3: Place the Board in the Laser Cutter
Insert the bamboo board into the laser cutter and activate the automatic material measurement.
Step4: Mark the Engraving Area and Start the Laser
Mark the exact area of the board in the software so the design fits perfectly.
Once everything is aligned, start the engraving process.
Step5: Clean the Board with Water
After engraving, remove the board from the laser cutter.
Gently clean the surface with a damp cloth and water to remove smoke residue and burn marks.
Allow the board to dry completely.
Step6: Enjoy Your Tea Time
