I created a personalized bamboo cutting board with a dachshund design using a laser cutter.
The board can be used as a breakfast board, cutting board, or a thoughtful gift for dog lovers.
I made this piece to create a unique, handmade product that combines functionality with a personal and emotional touch.
Instruction
Step1: Adjust the Design Settings
Before starting, customize your design settings.
Choose the font style, font size, and positioning of the dachshund motif according to your preferences.
Make sure the design fits well within the size of the bamboo board.
Step2: Place the Bamboo Board in the Laser Cutter
Carefully place the bamboo cutting board inside the laser cutter.
Ensure it lies flat and does not move during the process.
Step3: Measure and Set the Automatic Focus
Measure the distance between the laser head and the surface of the board.
Use the automatic focus function to set the correct distance for precise engraving (ruler sign).
Step4: Mark and Align the Engraving Area
Mark the engraving area to make sure the dachshund design is positioned correctly on the board (the flag sign).
Double-check the alignment before starting the engraving.
Step5: Engrave the Design
Start the laser engraving process and carefully engrave the dachshund motif onto the bamboo board.
Wait until the engraving is fully completed before removing the board.
Step6: Clean the Board
After engraving, clean the board with water to remove burn marks and residue.
Let it dry completely before use.
Step7: Finished Cutting Board
Your personalized bamboo cutting board is now finished and ready to use or gift.
